Close your eyes and listen to a Miles Davis record. Now imagine someone skating with that same flow and style, with the ability to improvise and make tricks happen without hesitation. That’s the feeling you get when witnessing Oskar Rozenberg Hallberg. His casual approach to skating is turning heads wherever he goes, leading to a boost in popularity for this young Swede from Malmo. While serving as the 2019 Vans Park Series World Champion, “Oski” continues to push himself by dropping parts for Nike SB and Polar Skateboards, pleasing both the mainstream and the most core of skateboarding audiences. He is humble to a fault, once trying to have an interview scrapped because he didn’t like the way he sounded talking about himself, but it’s that self-awareness that the people love so much about him. When not skating, Oski enjoys trips to the sauna, wandering the streets of New York City, Indian food, and the rhymes of Big L.
