Leo Romero

Leo Romero is the embodiment of real skateboarding. With over 25 years of shredding under his belt, Leo confesses that he still loves it just as much as the day he stepped on his friend's board at the young age of 10-years-old. He’s the skater’s skater. With loyalty at the forefront of his ethos, Leo has spent the last 20 years riding for Emerica Footwear, who has highlighted his talents since the release of “This is Skateboarding” in 2003. In similar fashion, Leo has been a pro for Toy Machine Skateboards since joining the brand in 2009. One year later, he earned the honor of being named Thrasher Magazine’s Skater of the Year and he celebrated with a karaoke jam at his party. All this time spent in tour vans on the road led Leo to finding passion in music, always bringing a guitar from city to city. As the frontman of Travesura, Leo has written and released multiple EP’s and even produced the song featured in his “Skater” video part. When Leo isn’t skating or making music, he likes to unwind with some beers and a barbeque with his bros.
