Riley Hawk

Riley Hawk was literally born into this life. With the most legendary surname in action sports history, it's no surprise that Riley’s first memories involve rolling down the hill in front of his house while being held by his father. Growing up as a Hawk, it would have been easy to coast off the family legacy, but Riley took a different approach. He quit the company owned by his dad and sought sponsors where he could create his own path. After winning the Am of the Year Award from Skateboarder Magazine in 2013, that path was cemented with a pro model from Baker Skateboards. Now with well over a decade in the professional ranks, Riley credits Arto Saari and Heath Kirchart as his inspiration to keep the stoke alive for his next great video part. Off the board, Riley says his hobbies are more like obsessions, and currently include golf, jiu-jitsu, and motocross. Adding to the family legacy, Riley now has a son with his wife Frances, the daughter of iconic Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain. So while the skateboarding world anticipates Riley’s next move, the pop culture world will hold its breath while the next Hawk in line decides which direction to soar.
